"This was Siberia" - the new album by FRIEDRICH and Mattia Dallara - is out on June 12th

Friedrich and Mattia Dallara’s new work emerges from the encounter between sound and visual memory.

Piano and electronics become the soundtrack to a distant geography: fragments of Langepas—a city in Western Siberia—drawn from Dilyara Vakhitova’s family archive and filmed in the 1990s.

These images document a family building a life in a region that was not originally their own—a story both singular and shared by many. Three decades later, the scenes return as material for dialogue.

This is not merely a musical accompaniment, but a conversation across time.

The images meet a sound that does not illustrate, but rather evokes and allows itself to be transformed. The piano moves between silence and deep resonance; the electronics shape spaces, invisible currents, and emotional interferences.

The album unfolds as an immersive concept: a journey into a distant past, both estranging and dreamlike at once. Siberia is not only a geographical place, but an inner state. It is landscape, waiting, frost, oblique light. It is memory resurfacing without explanation.

Somewhere between musical and audiovisual experience, the work becomes a contemporary dialogue with the 1990s, a subtle love letter to a time and place that shaped a generation. It is an invitation to deep listening and contemplation, where sound becomes a lens and images turn into echoes — like a dream emerging from the ice.

"Escaping Rules" - the new album by Riccardo Roveda - will be released on Friday, November 14th

"Escaping Rules" - the new album by Riccardo Roveda - will be released on Friday, November 14th

Escaping Rules is the new work by Riccardo Roveda, a project of electronic neoclassical alchemy that is born from the encounter between piano and electronics, between acoustic intimacy and soundscapes that expand into emotional and imaginative environments.

The album, composed of eight tracks, has been conceived as a journey of escape and rebirth, a path that does not lead to the end but to the beginning of a new perspective on the world. The very title, Escaping Rules (“rules of escape”), evokes the idea of an inner manual: a series of rules for salvation that music offers to free oneself from the present condition and to discover what lies beyond the exit.

The most surprising peculiarity is that the track Exit, which marks the symbolic opening of a door, does not close the album but inaugurates it. In this way, the listener is immediately pushed “outside” of what is known and projected towards a sonic elsewhere, a world that reveals itself thanks to the salvific power of music.

The writing of Escaping Rules intertwines the piano, always the beating heart and emotional narrator, with electronic textures that move between deep vibrations, hypnotic rhythmic lines, and enveloping ambient landscapes. The result is a continuous dialogue where human fragility and technological breath merge into a single voice.

The journey ends with The Time We Left, a track that melodically recalls Exit and reworks its essence. A circle that closes but in reality remains open, because the need to change, to escape and to save oneself is cyclical, a vital instinct that will always live within the human being.

With Escaping Rules, Riccardo Roveda does not offer only an album, but a concept to be crossed, an inner passage for those who seek in music a possibility of transformation.

Everybody, welcome LoopArc into Memory Recordings Roster!

An artistic encounter that began over ten years ago between violinist Stefano Zeni and cellist Marco Remondini, both members of a string quartet with a classical soul but a focus on pop-rock. From that initial collaboration, a bond was born that has evolved over time, culminating in 2019 in a new and innovative project: Mutanti Musicali, a trio complemented by the eclectic voice of vocal performer Boris Savoldelli.

Violin, cello, and voice—three quintessential classical instruments—are transformed and reinterpreted, creating a sonic experience that embraces references from classical, jazz, rock, pop, and world music. An ensemble that challenges stylistic conventions, transforming each piece into an expressive and engaging experience.

The duo has embarked on a significant collaboration with Gianluigi Trovesi, a true master of European jazz, whose presence has further enriched Mutanti Musicali's sonic exploration.

In parallel, LoopArc is working on a production with renowned composer and pianist Fabrizio Paterlini, which will soon lead to a new album, followed by a European tour.

Building on these experiences, the Remondini-Zeni duo has launched a new musical project, LoopArc, which draws on the classical repertoire—from the Baroque to the twentieth century—reworking it through the use of electronics, improvisation, and a stylistically free approach. The result is a sonic journey spanning centuries and cultures, projecting toward an open and borderless musical future.

Stefano Zeni's eclectic violin and Marco Remondini's imaginative cello offer an innovative soundtrack capable of emotionally engaging the listener, painting a veritable palette of musical colors that breaks the mold and redefines the concept of contemporary performance.

“La risata dei gabbiani” - by Davide Sammarchi - is out now!

We are happy to announce that the new album by Davide Sammarchi - “La risata dei gabbiani“ - is out now on all digital stores.

“The laughter of seagulls is a sound I’ve come to perceive as a symbol of home. During these years of studying in a seaside city, I’ve often noticed seagulls passing in front of my window just before dawn. They laugh, play, and talk to each other until the sun rises. This has reminded me of the importance of play, of laughter, things we often forget as we grow older, caught up in ‘serious matters.’ This album is a tribute to the seagull, a figure found in Greek literature, Baudelaire’s poetry, and the legends of the ports. It’s an invitation to never forget to laugh.“

"Piano in Space" - the new album by Sasha Lattuca - is out now!

"Piano in Space" explores the dialogue between acoustic and electronic elements, creating a sonic universe suspended between tradition and innovation. The album combines the purity of the piano with electronic components and other instruments, crafting evocative soundscapes where reverberated melodies and modular textures merge with jazz and post-minimalist influences. Each track is an exploration of emotional and acoustic space, transporting the listener to a suspended dimension where time expands, and introspection takes on a musical form.

"Da Questo Altrove" - the new single by Sasha Lattuca - is out now!

We are happy to announce that the single “Da Questo Altrove” by Sasha Lattuca - which is the first step towards his new album “Piano in Space” - is out now!

"Da Questo Altrove" is a sonic meditation on the idea of estrangement and transition. The track revolves around an essential piano melody, repeated with subtle variations, evoking a sense of suspension and cyclicality. The double bass, with its warm and enveloping tone, engages in a dialogue with the piano, enriching the piece with depth and tension. The title suggests a journey to an undefined place—an emotional elsewhere where familiarity and disorientation coexist—inviting the listener to reflect on their sense of belonging.

Everybody, welcome Sasha Lattuca into Memory recordings roster

Sasha Lattuca is a composer whose path goes beyond conventional boundaries, fusing different genres into a single sonic mix. Inspired by pianist Keith Jarrett and his quote "Touch is only possible at the edge of spaces. Light is only precious during dark intervals", Sasha's music explores the interplay between consonance and dissonance.

With roots in classical music, transmitted by his Russian pianist mother, and through studies at the Palermo Conservatory (Italy), Sasha approached jazz under the guidance of Salvatore Bonafede. He formed the GNU Trio, exploring Northern European jazz and achieving national recognition. Master's studies in the Netherlands introduced him to the Dutch underground music scene, influencing his debut album, Full Circle, which reflects his passion for contemporary, modal and fusion jazz.

Back in Italy, Sasha explored the world of electronic music, performing live with modular synthesizers and piano in Palermo, Rome and Berlin.

Sasha Lattuca's music is a continuous exploration that crosses genres and roles with fluidity. His works illuminate precious intervals of darkness with a harmonious light, guiding listeners on a personal musical journey.

Stay tuned: his new project will be out soon!

"SOLO" by Alessandro Martinelli

We are happy to announce that the album “SOLO” by Alessandro Martinelli is out now on every digital platform!

Solo is an intimate journey where solitude, both physical and emotional, takes centre stage. The piano, as the sole instrument, symbolises an experience lived without distractions, an act of isolation that frees one from external confusion. Each track delves into the conflict between the desire for connection and a return to the past. The repetition of notes is not confinement but the key to evolving, confronting pain and the hope of a new beginning, finding peace in solitude.

"ONE DAY" - the new single by Alessandro Martinelli - is out now!

"ONE DAY" by Alessandro Martinelli

We are happy to announce that the single “ONE DAY” by Alessandro Martinelli - which is the first step towards his new album “SOLO” - is out now on every digital platform!

One Day is a memory. It is the image of a day when time stops flowing, and everything comes to a standstill: me, lost in the notes, trying to rediscover that calm that once was, as if everything could finally return to its place. It is a dream I cannot wake from, but one that I know belongs to me. It is the memory of a time that seems far away now, and yet, with these notes, in every breath, it comes back vividly and becomes present again.

One Day is the past that continues to live in the present, the delicate thread connecting every moment, with the hope that every silence, every pause, may finally find its meaning. It is the certainty that there is always the possibility to recompose, to rewrite everything with a little more light. Each day brings with it a fragment of that promise, a small spark that ignites when I least expect it. The music of that moment lingers in the air, like an echo that never fades but continues to illuminate what is yet to come.
