"Escaping Rules" - the new album by Riccardo Roveda - will be released on Friday, November 14th

Escaping Rules is the new work by Riccardo Roveda, a project of electronic neoclassical alchemy that is born from the encounter between piano and electronics, between acoustic intimacy and soundscapes that expand into emotional and imaginative environments.

The album, composed of eight tracks, has been conceived as a journey of escape and rebirth, a path that does not lead to the end but to the beginning of a new perspective on the world. The very title, Escaping Rules (“rules of escape”), evokes the idea of an inner manual: a series of rules for salvation that music offers to free oneself from the present condition and to discover what lies beyond the exit.

The most surprising peculiarity is that the track Exit, which marks the symbolic opening of a door, does not close the album but inaugurates it. In this way, the listener is immediately pushed “outside” of what is known and projected towards a sonic elsewhere, a world that reveals itself thanks to the salvific power of music.

The writing of Escaping Rules intertwines the piano, always the beating heart and emotional narrator, with electronic textures that move between deep vibrations, hypnotic rhythmic lines, and enveloping ambient landscapes. The result is a continuous dialogue where human fragility and technological breath merge into a single voice.

The journey ends with The Time We Left, a track that melodically recalls Exit and reworks its essence. A circle that closes but in reality remains open, because the need to change, to escape and to save oneself is cyclical, a vital instinct that will always live within the human being.

With Escaping Rules, Riccardo Roveda does not offer only an album, but a concept to be crossed, an inner passage for those who seek in music a possibility of transformation.
